Palacio Raggio

Palacio Raggio is a Beaux-Arts building in Monserrat with four stories, classical details, and ornate facades throughout. The interior is organized around courtyards and accessed through decorated balconies from the upper floors.

The Raggio brothers, owners of a retail chain, commissioned Swiss architect Lorenzo Siegerist to design this building completed in 1910. The structure marked a peak of Beaux-Arts style in Buenos Aires during the country's prosperous Belle Époque period.

The palace houses residential areas, exhibition spaces, and a restaurant that reflect how Buenos Aires architecture evolved and adapted to new uses. This blend shows how grand buildings transformed to serve different functions over time.
