Buenos Aires Museo, known as Museo de la Ciudad until 2021, is a history museum made up of four urban houses on Calle Alsina in Monserrat. These are the Casa de los Altos de Elorriaga (1808), the Casa de Ezcurra (1830), the Casa de los Altos de la Estrella (1894) and the Casa de los Querubines (around 1895). The museum opened in 1968 and has occupied the Casa de los Altos de la Estrella at Alsina 412 since 1972.

The museum opened in 1968 and since 1972 has occupied the Casa de los Altos de la Estrella at Alsina 412, built in 1895 by the owner of the Farmacia La Estrella. The city later added the 1808 Altos de Elorriaga and the 1830 Casa de Ezcurra, restored from 2008, and in 1999 acquired the Casa de los Querubines. Its first director, architect José María Peña, created the city's historic zone in 1979.

The museum was called Museo de la Ciudad until 2021, when it took the name Buenos Aires Museo. Its four houses stand along Calle Alsina: the Casa de los Altos de Elorriaga (1808), the Casa de Ezcurra (1830), the Casa de los Altos de la Estrella (1894) and the Casa de los Querubines (around 1895). The last was bought in 1999 to become the museum's new seat.

The museum occupies four adjoining houses on and around Calle Alsina in Monserrat, south of Plaza de Mayo; the entrance is at Alsina 412. The Altos de Elorriaga and Casa de Ezcurra were only restored from 2008, so parts of the complex may be closed in rotation. Allow time to walk between the separate buildings rather than a single gallery circuit.

The museum occupies four houses on Calle Alsina, including the Casa de los Querubines, bought by the city government in 1999 to become the museum's new seat. The 1895 Casa de los Altos de la Estrella was built by the owner of the Farmacia La Estrella, the historic pharmacy next door.
