Treloar Resource Centre

The Treloar Resource Centre is a conservation facility for military equipment in Mitchell, Australia. It houses aircraft, vehicles, boats, missiles, and artillery pieces from different time periods.

The facility opened in 1994, replacing an earlier warehouse in Duntroon. That previous location had stored Australian War Memorial items starting in the 1950s.

The centre preserves objects that matter to how Australians understand their military past. When visiting, you notice how carefully items are arranged and how much work goes into maintaining these pieces of history.

The centre opens to visitors on special days, particularly during the annual 'Big Things in Store' event. You can then view the collections and learn about how items are kept in good condition.
