Krishna Water park, Water park in Kuvadva, India
Krishna Water Park is a water park in Kuvadva, in the Indian state of Gujarat, with water slides, wave pools, lazy rivers, and separate zones for different age groups. The grounds are spread across a large open area, with attractions arranged to serve both families with young children and adult visitors.
The park opened as one of the first major water parks in the Saurashtra region of Gujarat, at a time when this type of facility was rare in the area. Over the years, new rides and attractions were added, gradually making it a reference point for water-based leisure in the region.
The park takes its name from Krishna, one of the most recognized figures in Hindu tradition, which gives it a local resonance beyond simple entertainment. Families from across the Gujarat region visit regularly, especially during festivals and school holidays.
Arriving early in the day helps make the most of the visit, as the most popular rides tend to fill up as the morning goes on. The grounds are large, so comfortable footwear for walking between areas is a good idea.
Among the park's attractions is a river cruise channel that runs for about 600 feet (180 meters) through different parts of the grounds, which is unusually long for a park of this type in the region. This makes it one of the longer continuous water rides in Gujarat.
