Pannonica

Pannonica is a salt water park with three artificial lakes situated on gravel beaches in downtown Tuzla. The water matches sea water salinity and undergoes continuous filtration to maintain quality standards.

An ancient sea covered this region millions of years ago, leaving vast salt deposits beneath the city. These natural reserves became the foundation for creating this modern salt water complex.

An archaeological park displays remains of Neolithic stilt-house settlements, telling the story of early inhabitants who lived in this region. Visitors can see artifacts and learn how ancient communities used this land.

The site is easy to reach on foot and provides changing areas, food options, and rest spots throughout the day. Bring sun protection and water shoes, as the gravel beaches can get quite hot.

This is the only place in Europe where you can swim in sea-like salt water in the heart of a city center. Visitors get a seaside experience without traveling to the coast, making it a rare find in central Europe.
