The beach extends along the eastern coast of Ko Tarutao, featuring white sand that meets clear water near the limestone cliffs of the island.
The beach was part of a region where prisoners and guards turned to piracy during World War II due to food shortages on the island.
The eastern location of this beach provides views of traditional fishing boats crossing between Thailand and Malaysia through the Strait of Malacca.
The beach remains open for visitors from October through May, while access requires a national park entry fee of 200 baht for international tourists.
Morning rays illuminate the beach first on Ko Tarutao, creating a natural light display as the sun rises over the Strait of Malacca.
