Long Bay Beach

Long Bay Beach is a coastal beach on the southeast side of Barbados positioned between Crane Bay and Cave Bay. The shoreline stretches with white sand and experiences strong wave action typical of this exposed ocean-facing location.

A resort facility formerly operated on this beach before its closure and removal from the landscape. Since that demolition, the area has remained free of major commercial structures.

The beach maintains local traditions as residents regularly organize community events and beach cleaning initiatives to protect the natural environment.

Swimming here requires caution because of strong currents and no lifeguards present to assist swimmers. Visitors should check conditions before entering the water and be aware of the potential hazards.

This location sits at a geographical point where elevated cliffs create natural boundaries and offer views across the Caribbean waters. The rocky formations add a distinctive character to the shoreline that sets it apart from other beaches nearby.
