Nissaki beach

Nissaki beach is a 600-meter stretch of coastline covered with soft golden sand and clear Mediterranean waters. Rock formations protrude along the shoreline, creating a natural and varied landscape.

The beach takes its name from its location within Sotira municipality, which has functioned as a fishing settlement since ancient times. This long connection to maritime traditions has shaped the character of the shore.

The beach serves as a gathering space where locals come together on warm evenings to share meals and spend time with family. This social role reflects how the shore has become central to the rhythm of community life.

The beach has sunbeds, umbrellas, shower facilities, and changing rooms available for visitors. Parking is available with space for approximately 200 vehicles nearby.

At low tide, a natural sand pathway becomes visible and allows visitors to walk across to a small islet just offshore. This temporary route only appears when water levels drop, creating an unusual experience.
