Praia naturista do Salto

Located between Cerro da Águia and Cerca Nova beaches, this secluded naturist beach features cliffs, golden sand, and a freshwater stream at the entrance.

The beach received official naturist designation after 1977, when the Portuguese Federation of Naturism emerged following the end of Portugal's dictatorial regime.

The beach maintains a dedicated naturist community that promotes respect for nature, self-acceptance, and environmental conservation through nude recreation practices.

Visitors need to bring their own supplies as the beach lacks facilities, and access requires descending stairs between cliffs to reach the sand.

The beach sits within Southwest Alentejo National Park, where natural rock formations create sheltered areas that protect naturists from strong coastal winds.
