Sainte-Restitude

Sainte-Restitude is a beach in Lumio featuring a roughly 150-meter sandy cove with pebbles and rocky outcrops framing the edges. The shoreline slopes gently and offers plenty of space for swimming and relaxing, with a restaurant situated in the upper area.

A first aid station operates during July and August in the elevated area above the restaurant, with lifeguards monitoring swimming activities. Visitors should check conditions upon arrival, as weather and water can change quickly.

Visitors search through the sand for the eye of Saint Lucie shells, which locals regard as traditional Corsican talismans. These special shell pieces hold long-standing meaning in local folklore and are popular with collectors.
