Besta Beach

Besta Beach is a lake beach along the shore of Lake Ledro, surrounded by mountains and featuring clear water for swimming and water sports. The beach has sandy and pebbled areas where visitors can relax and access the water easily.

The area was settled during the Bronze Age when ancient communities established homes along the lake shore. Archaeological discoveries here reveal a long history of human presence in this mountain landscape.

The beach serves as a gathering place where locals celebrate summer traditions featuring regional music and food from the Trentino area. These gatherings reflect the community's deep connection to the lake and surrounding landscape.

The beach has parking areas, restroom facilities, and water equipment rentals available during the warmer months. The best visiting time is from June through September when all facilities and activities are fully operational.

During winter months, the beach becomes a bird watching location as migrating species gather along the protected shores of the lake. This seasonal movement of birds makes the spot especially interesting for nature watchers outside the swimming season.
