Lake Ledro Stilt house Museum

The Museo della Palafitte is a history museum near Lake Ledro that focuses on prehistoric settlements along the shoreline. It displays archaeological finds, tools, and reconstructed dwelling structures from Bronze Age communities.

Excavations in 1929 uncovered wooden piles from Bronze Age settlements, revealing archaeological treasures from 4,000 years ago. These discoveries shaped our understanding of early life in lake regions.
