Cima Parì, Mountain summit in Ledro Valley, Italy.
Cima Parì is a mountain summit in the Ledro Valley standing at 1991 meters high, reached by several trails that wind through alpine meadows and forest sections. The paths connect different parts of the valley and offer views of the surrounding slopes and the landscape below.
The mountain marked the boundary between Italian and Austro-Hungarian forces during World War I. Remains of military structures remain visible along the ridge today.
The annual Ledro Sky Race incorporates the paths around Cima Parì, connecting local communities through mountain sports and outdoor activities.
The hike from Lenzumo is a full-day trek that requires sturdy footwear and clothing suited to changing weather conditions. The path can become muddy or slippery, especially after rain, so caution is needed on steeper sections.
The hiking route partly follows historic cattle and sheep paths where herders once drove their animals up to alpine pastures. These old grazing routes are still noticeable when walking through the area.
