Crinale Pichea - Rocchetta, Natural reserve in Trentino, Italy.

Crinale Pichea - Rocchetta is a protected nature reserve in the mountains of Trentino featuring meadows, forests and rocky slopes at different elevations. The landscape shifts between open grasslands and denser woodland patches, creating habitats for mountain birds and alpine plant species.

The site has been designated since 1995 and was additionally declared a Special Protection Area in 1998. It is managed by the Rete di Riserve Alpi Ledrensi and forms part of the core zone of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Ledro Alps and Judicaria, established in 2015.

The three passes Bocca di Trat, Bocca di Saval and Bocca di Giumella are internationally important crossings on the migration route of many bird species heading to their winter quarters.

Visitors can find marked hiking trails and access points around the reserve that are maintained by local authorities. It is advisable to wear sturdy footwear and weather-resistant clothing since mountain conditions can change quickly.

The grassy summit areas hold endemic plants reaching their easternmost limit here, including the Tombea stonecrop (Saxifraga tombeanensis), listed under Annex II of the Habitats Directive. The site also shelters the yellow lady's slipper orchid and the crested devil's claw.
