La Fenicia

La Fenicia is a pebble beach in Marciana Marina featuring smooth white stones that extend several meters underwater. The shore stretches approximately 100 meters long and 25 meters wide.

The beach received its first Blue Flag certification in 2014 from the Foundation for Environmental Education for maintaining strict environmental and water quality standards. This recognition marked an important moment for local conservation efforts.

The beach establishments serve as gathering places where locals enjoy seafood meals and watch sunsets over nearby Capraia Island. These venues reflect how the community connects with the waterfront during warmer months.

Two beach establishments offer sun loungers, umbrellas, and children's pools with accessible entry points for visitors with mobility needs at the road terminus. The facilities are easy to reach from the main access point.

A seasonal stream flows through the center of the beach from November to March, naturally shaping the white pebbles over time. This ongoing geological process is what gives the shore its distinctive character.
