Adiça Beach

Adiça Beach is a 1.5-kilometer stretch of sand at Costa da Caparica lined with golden cliffs, pine forests, and natural dunes along the Atlantic Ocean. The coastline opens toward views of Cape Espichel in the distance.

The beach was once known as Praia da NATO before Portuguese authorities officially designated it as a naturist beach in 2015. This recognition formalized what the community had already been doing for some time.

Visitors from around the world gather here in a community spirit built on shared values and respect for one another. The relaxed social environment reflects how people naturally interact in this open and accepting setting.

Bring everything you might need since the beach has no facilities or services. Access is by marked trails from nearby parking areas, which means a short walk to reach the sand.

The secluded location, reached only by trails, creates a sense of stepping away from crowds and busy coastal areas. This natural isolation keeps the place less crowded than other nearby beaches.
