Playa del embalse de Aguilar

Playa del Embalse de Aguilar is a sandy beach along the Aguilar Reservoir in northern Palencia province. The water is surrounded by mountains and green landscapes that form a natural backdrop for the shore.

The reservoir was built in the middle of the 20th century to generate power and irrigate surrounding farmland. Its creation transformed the landscape and provided a new recreation resource for the area.
