Bodega Salentein

Bodega Salentein is a wine estate at the foot of the Andes Mountains in Los Arboles de Villegas with extensive vineyards. The property features multiple sections dedicated to wine production, aging, and storage operations.

The estate was built on land formerly managed by Jesuit missionaries who practiced traditional winemaking during Argentina's colonial period. This heritage influenced how the region approaches viticulture and wine production.

The Kilka gallery displays a permanent collection of Argentine art alongside paintings by Dutch artists from the 19th and 20th centuries. Visitors can see how local artistic traditions connect with European influences in this exhibition space.

The estate is open daily and offers guided tours along with wine tasting experiences. It is advisable to book in advance, especially when visiting as part of a group.

The underground cellar holds thousands of French oak casks and features a massive stone table used for wine tastings. This combination of storage and tasting space creates a distinctive setting within the estate.
