Le repaire des écureuils., Adventure park in Séez, France.
Le Repaire des Écureuils is a tree climbing park set in the Malgovert Forest with multiple routes featuring 80 crossings between natural platforms at different heights. The circuits are designed so that visitors of varying abilities can navigate the structures.
The park opened as one of the first tree climbing facilities in the Savoie region, bringing a new form of outdoor recreation to the French Alps. Its creation marked a shift in how adventure activities were offered in this mountain area.
The site draws on the natural forest environment around it, letting visitors discover local tree species while moving through the suspended platforms and bridges. This connection to the woodland becomes part of the experience rather than something separate from it.
Visitors receive safety gear including harnesses and helmets, with trained guides leading participants through the adventure. The experience lasts around three hours, so allow sufficient time and wear comfortable clothing for the activity.
The facility includes a special netted circuit designed for children from age three, allowing young climbers to explore the trees without requiring technical gear. This children's course makes the activity accessible to families with very small kids.
