Xtrem Sud, Adventure park and tree climbing center in Porto-Vecchio, France.
Xtrem Sud is an adventure center featuring tree climbing activities set within maritime and lariccio pine trees across five hectares. The facility offers four separate courses with varying difficulty levels to suit different skill levels.
The center was founded in 2003 by Jean-Michel Bordeaux and Eric Biancarelli and became the largest outdoor recreation facility in southern Corsica. The founders established a new approach to leisure activities in the region.
The park showcases native Corsican pine species and the natural vegetation patterns of the region. The trees create a dense network of varying heights and structures that is typical of this landscape.
The site is relatively easy to access and provides ample space to explore different difficulty levels. Visitors should wear comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear as the activities require physical effort.
The site allows visitors to combine tree climbing with nearby natural experiences such as via ferrata courses or canyon descents in the Bavella mountain areas or at Piscia di Gallu. This option enables adventurers to link multiple activities within a single visit.
