House of Dreamers

House of Dreamers is an immersive art exhibition at Carrousel du Louvre with 18 distinct installations combining projections, sounds, lights, and interactive elements across themed spaces. Visitors move through rooms designed to encourage thinking about imagination and personal creativity.

This exhibition opened in 2024 as the first permanent immersive art space in the Carrousel du Louvre. It represents a new direction for Paris in bringing digital art into established cultural venues.

This space uses contemporary media to create rooms where visitors can explore their own dreams and desires through art. The different areas encourage reflection on personal aspirations and what drives imagination.

Plan for a visit lasting around 50 minutes and expect better movement through spaces during quieter times of day. Free entry applies for children under 4 and caregivers of people with disabilities.

Each installation reacts to visitors through motion sensors, displaying different digital projections based on their presence in the space. This means no two visits are exactly the same, as each person shapes a different experience.
