Sky Bar

Sky Bar is a rooftop venue on the 63rd floor of the State Tower, situated about 250 meters (820 feet) above ground. From here, visitors gaze out over Bangkok's glittering skyline and the city lights at night.

Sky Bar opened in 2007 as one of Bangkok's first elevated gathering places and set new standards for upscale dining in Thailand. The rooftop bar concept was later copied by many other establishments across the city.

The venue reflects Bangkok's upscale social customs, where formal dress signals respect in prestigious establishments. It serves as a gathering place where people celebrate special occasions while experiencing the city from above.

Visitors should wear formal clothing and closed-toe shoes, as the venue maintains strict dress standards. Evening is the best time to visit, when the city fills with lights and temperatures become cooler.

The venue created a cocktail called the Hangovertini, specifically crafted for the cast during filming of a major Hollywood movie. This drink remains a reminder of the bar's connection to international film production.
