Jezero Lepenica

Jezero Lepenica is a man-made reservoir created by damming the Lepenica River, featuring turquoise waters surrounded by dense forests and rocky shores in the Gorski Kotar region.

The lake was constructed in the 20th century as part of hydroelectric and water management projects, transforming the local landscape from traditional forestry and agricultural land uses.

Visitors can access the lake via marked routes from Fuzine and Benkovac Fužinski, with designated parking areas and trails leading to viewpoints overlooking the water.
