William Hawrelak Park, Riverside park in Edmonton, Alberta.

William Hawrelak Park spans 68 hectares along the North Saskatchewan River, featuring artificial lakes, walking trails, picnic areas, and recreational facilities within Edmonton's river valley system.

Originally called Mayfair Park, the site was acquired by the city in 1922 and developed starting in 1954 under Mayor William Hawrelak's proposal, with artificial lakes constructed between 1959 and 1964.

The park hosts major cultural events including the Silver Skate Festival since 1990, performances at the Heritage Amphitheatre which seats over 1,100 spectators, and previously the Bright Nights Festival from 1998 to 2008.

The park operates daily from 5 am to 11 pm and is currently under rehabilitation until early 2026, with perimeter river valley trails remaining accessible during construction work.

The park features five West Coast Modernist pavilions designed by Bittorf & Wensley between 1967 and 1973, which are being considered for inclusion on Edmonton's Inventory of Historic Resources.
