Faena Forum, Event venue in Miami Beach, US
Faena Forum is a modern event building in Miami Beach with a bright façade filled with windows. Inside it has two large halls, a rose marble amphitheater, and several smaller rooms around an open central area.
The building was designed by Rem Koolhaas and his studio OMA as part of a larger neighborhood project. Its creation brought a contemporary cultural venue to a stretch of Miami Beach that already had a strong tourist identity.
Across Collins Avenue, the surrounding district pairs the venue with street-level art, shops and places to eat, so visitors often spend time outdoors before or after an event. The rose marble amphitheater gives performances an especially tactile setting where the material itself becomes part of the show.
The entrance lobby has a bar and a coat check, making it easy to settle in when you arrive. Guests can move between the large halls and smaller rooms without leaving the building.
The venue contains an amphitheater made of rose marble with seating built directly into its structure, which gives small talks and performances a striking visual focus. The same space can be split apart or combined depending on the size of the gathering.
