The green space stretches along Botič stream below Nuselský Bridge, incorporating grassy areas, paved paths, several sports courts, children's play areas, and a dog run alongside barbecue facilities.

The site was first recorded in vineyard registers in 1353, named after Jakub Foliman, and an apricot orchard was added about a century later. A farmhouse built in the 18th century stood on the central hillocks until it was demolished in 1969 during construction of Nuselský Bridge, completed in 1973. Park landscaping dates from the early 1970s, with a major reconstruction of the central section in 2007.

The park serves as a neighborhood gathering spot for families, sports enthusiasts, and dog owners from Vinohrady and Nové Město, hosting informal community activities throughout warmer months.

The park lies in Nuselské údolí between Botič stream and Bělehradská street; the slope rises steeply toward Karlov, so paths climb rather than loop flat. The 2022 Jammertal leisure area adds a skatepark that becomes an ice rink in winter, a pétanque court, a table-tennis table and a book-sharing box. A caretaker's house lends sports equipment and offers refreshments.

A ventilation shaft at the northern edge was designed as an R2-D2 robot and regularly attracts graffiti artists and science fiction fans who use the unusual technical structure as a backdrop.
