Vyskeř

Vyskeř is a mountain summit that rises 466 meters above sea level in a protected natural area in Bohemia, marked by a significant rise from surrounding terrain. The site features hiking trails through forested landscape with views across the surrounding region.

An octagonal bell tower from the 17th century at the base marks prolonged settlement and religious significance in this mountain region. A chapel was later built near the summit, reflecting ongoing spiritual activity on the mountain.

The Way of the Cross path guides visitors past traditional religious landmarks toward the Chapel of St. Ann near the summit. This route shows how faith and landscape have been connected here across generations.

A marked hiking trail leads directly to the summit with several starting points nearby that are easy to reach. The terrain is hilly and vegetated, so sturdy footwear and moderate fitness are advisable.

The mountain ranks among the most prominent peaks within its protected area and offers an excellent vantage point for distant views. On clear days, the surrounding landscape becomes clearly visible from this elevated perspective.
