Krkanka is a nature reserve in the southeastern Iron Mountains, covering the deeply cut valley of the Chrudimka between the Křižanovice I dam and a bridge on the Nasavrky–Práčov road, plus three side valleys running south. Its slopes hold frost cliffs, stone fields, scree and boulder-strewn streambeds, with a waterfall on one tributary.

Krkanka is a nature reserve near České Lhotice in the Chrudim district, managed by the AOPK ČR – Administration of the Železné hory Protected Landscape Area. It protects the deeply cut valley of the Chrudimka between the Křižanovice I dam and the bridge on the Nasavrky–Práčov road, together with three side valleys. The reserve adjoins Strádovské Peklo to the east, which is fenced off as part of the Slavická obora game reserve.

Part of the footpath along the Chrudimka is used by the circuit of the Keltská stezka Železnými horami educational trail, which gives the reserve its name link to the Iron Mountains' Celtic past. A chatová osada, a cluster of weekend cottages, stands in the eastern part of the reserve.

Visitors should wear appropriate footwear and bring gear for changing weather, as the valley contains dense forest sections and damp areas. The marked trails can be accessed from several points in surrounding villages, giving flexibility in choosing your route.

The reserve's side valleys hold frost-weathered rock ledges, stone fields and boulder-strewn streambeds, and one tributary of the Chrudimka drops over a waterfall. A 1996 survey recorded 405 butterfly individuals of 11,486 counted, within 499 species known from the reserve.
