Muzeum Fojtství

The Muzeum Fojtství occupies a stone building from 1789, presenting exhibits about carriage manufacturing and local crafts through multiple exhibition rooms and galleries.

Ignác Šustala, who established the foundation of what would become the Tatra automobile company, was born in this building in 1822.

The museum displays six preserved carriages in its barn, including ceremonial sleighs and funeral wagons that reflect regional transportation methods.

Visitors can explore the museum Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00 during summer months and 9:00 to 16:00 in winter, with admission at 70 CZK.

The upper floor contains a former granary transformed into an art gallery, while the courtyard features a neo-Gothic sandstone tomb and chapel.
