Church of Saint Bartholomew

The Church of Saint Bartholomew is a Gothic Revival building with characteristic stone walls, buttresses, and pointed arches typical of the style. The interior and exterior architecture display the elements that define this approach to religious building design.

A wooden church originally stood on this site from 1550 and served the community for over 300 years before being replaced. The current stone building was constructed in the late 1800s to meet the needs of the growing population.
