Pillot Building

The Pillot Building on Congress Avenue is an early 20th-century commercial structure with features typical of downtown Houston's business architecture from that period. The facade displays the construction methods and materials that were standard for commercial buildings in the area at that time.

The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974 and later experienced a major structural collapse. It was rebuilt in 1988 using original materials recovered from the damaged structure.
