Ring of Time

Ring of Time is a bronze sculpture positioned at the intersection of Southwest 6th between Madison and Main streets in Portland's Transit Mall. The work stands roughly 3 meters tall and features an intricate geometric composition with interlocking forms and surface patterns.

Hilda Grossman Morris created this monumental bronze sculpture between 1965 and 1967 for Standard Insurance Company's art collection. The work was established as part of an effort to enhance public spaces in downtown Portland.

The sculpture represents the cyclical nature of time through its circular form and intricate patterns, adding depth to Portland's public art collection.
