Santa Ana Stadium features a primary seating section accommodating 5,000 spectators for American football and soccer matches within its total 9,000 capacity structure.
The stadium, constructed in 1963 by R.E. Gallegos Construction Company, received its name in honor of Eddie West, an Orange County Register sports journalist.
The facility hosts numerous high school football games, including matches from Santa Ana College Dons and Mater Dei Monarchs teams throughout the season.
Located at 602 North Flower Street, the stadium provides access to public transportation through Orange County Transit Authority bus routes.
In 1989, the stadium witnessed an international soccer match between Club América from Mexico and FC Bayern Munich, drawing 11,500 spectators.
