The museum opened in 1998 in a former moving company facility. It formed through the merger of two learning centers that wanted to combine science education with hands-on experience.
The Science of Hockey exhibit connects physics principles with ice hockey through a partnership with the Anaheim Ducks professional team. Visitors can observe how scientific concepts apply directly to professional sports.
