Buddy Holly Center, Music museum in Lubbock, United States.
The Buddy Holly Center houses extensive exhibits featuring the rock and roll legend's personal artifacts, stage outfits, instruments, photographs, and multimedia displays chronicling his musical journey.
Established in 1999 within a restored 1928 Spanish Renaissance Revival railroad depot, the center opened after Lubbock acquired Holly's estate collection in 1996.
The museum preserves Holly's legacy as a pioneer of rock and roll while celebrating West Texas musical heritage through the Texas Musician Hall of Fame.
The center offers guided tours, educational programs, parking facilities, and hosts annual events including free Summer Showcase concerts and special February 3rd commemorations.
The museum displays Holly's actual 1958 Ariel Cyclone motorcycle and features oversized sculpture glasses outside the entrance, plus Jerry Allison's relocated songwriter house.
