The house reflects the architectural preferences of 19th-century Indiana through its segmental arched openings, paired scroll brackets, and decorative rosettes.
The property, which spans less than one acre, received a $29,120 grant from the Historic Renovation Grant Program for preservation and community use.
Following restoration, the house will transform into a social gathering space offering guided tours and potentially operating as a bed and breakfast.
