Barberville Falls is a waterfall in Poestenkill where water drops steeply over a broad rock face within a deep gorge. The cascade creates several tiers as it descends, shaped by the underlying geology and the force of the Poesten Kill river.

The Nature Conservancy acquired the Barberville Falls Preserve in 1967 and held it until August 2019, when ownership passed to the Rensselaer Plateau Alliance. The preserve covers 138 acres along 0.57 miles of the Poesten Kill. The falls themselves are shared with private property on the west side.

Parking for the Falls and Ridge trails is at 23 Blue Factory Road and holds 16 vehicles; the Creek Trail starts from a small lot on Plank Road. The Falls Trail drops steeply to the base of the falls, and the old Falls Trail from Blue Factory Road is closed. The preserve is open dawn to dusk, and both trail ends border private land.

Stone foundations of an abandoned mill sit near the base, remnants of earlier industrial attempts in the area. These old structures stand in sharp contrast to the natural beauty of the falls.
