Hillcrest Country Club

The golf course was designed by architect William Diddel in 1924, with the clubhouse constructed between 1929 and 1930. A swimming pool added in 1934 expanded the club's recreational offerings.

The golf course represents the strategic school design, offering players different route options based on their skill level while incorporating natural landscape elements.

This is a private membership club, so the grounds are generally not open to the public. Visitors should contact the club in advance to ask about guest passes or any public viewing opportunities.

The golf course preserves one of the few complete examples of strategic school course design from the 1920s, with only one hole modified since its original construction. This layout demonstrates how players could choose different routes based on their skill level.
