Skiles Test Nature Park, Nature park in northeast Indianapolis, United States.
The eighty-one acre forested area features a network of trails winding through dense woods along Fall Creek, offering numerous observation spots for wildlife.
Indianapolis businessman Charles Test's son Skiles inherited the property in 1910 and upon his death in 1964 donated the land to Indianapolis for public use.
The park serves as an educational resource with programs focusing on local ecology, tree identification, and environmental conservation practices for community members.
The main hiking trail spans 0.7 miles with an elevation gain of 829 feet, beginning with a steep 9.5% grade section for the first quarter mile.
The property previously contained a miniature railway system and a pool complex with bathhouses, elevators, and high diving platforms during Skiles Test's ownership.
