The Hindu Temple of Central Indiana features a grand 11,000-square-foot worship hall containing 17 shrines carved from granite and marble by skilled craftsmen.
The temple traces its origins to 1985 with the Geeta Mandal congregation, leading to construction in 2005 and official opening in February 2006.
The temple maintains multiple deities including Ganesha, Hanuman, Durga, and Shiva, representing different aspects of Hindu spirituality and traditions.
Located at 3350 North German Church Road, the temple operates daily with morning hours from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM and evening hours from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The temple underwent a substantial expansion in 2015, incorporating four towers and skylights designed by architect Umanandam Nagarat with assistance from 32 Indian stone artisans.
