The Ford Center is a domed multipurpose venue with seating for 12,000 people, equipped with modern sound, lighting, and video technology throughout. The facility houses training areas, administrative offices, coaching spaces, and dedicated areas for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders program.
Announced in 2013 as a partnership between the City of Frisco and the Dallas Cowboys, the venue is part of the 91-acre Star development where the team moved its headquarters and training base from Valley Ranch. In 2015 the Cowboys signed a ten-year naming-rights deal with Ford Motor Company.
The facility plays a central role in youth sports for the area, giving student-athletes access to professional-grade training spaces and competition venues. Families gather here regularly to watch games and events that connect the local community through sports.
The complex offers ample parking throughout the grounds and is easy to navigate for visitors of all ages. Arriving early is recommended during major events, as the facility draws large crowds.
The stadium's synthetic surface is Hellas Matrix Helix Turf, and the field can be re-marked for a regulation soccer pitch or a lacrosse field. The Dallas Rattlers played their first home game here on April 29, 2018, beating the Denver Outlaws 15–14 in overtime before 7,217 spectators.
