Winthrop Square Tower is a mixed-use building in Boston's Financial District combining office spaces, residential apartments, and a large public hall at its base. The structure includes fitness facilities, an indoor pool, outdoor terraces, and service areas throughout its floors.
The project began in 2016 when Millennium Partners received approval to redevelop the former Winthrop Square Garage site in Boston. This development transformed what had been a parking structure into a contemporary mixed-use tower.
The tower incorporates public spaces for concerts, dining venues, and community gatherings, establishing a central meeting point in Boston's Financial District.
The building sits in a central location within the Financial District and is easily accessible by public transportation and on foot. Visitors can freely access the public spaces and explore the various amenities available throughout the building.
The building holds the distinction of being the world's largest Passive House certified office structure. It simultaneously earned LEED Platinum and WELL Gold certifications for its environmental performance achievements.
