Trinity Park, Public park in Fort Worth, United States
Trinity Park is a 252-acre park along the Clear Fork of the Trinity River with walking trails, open green spaces, and recreational facilities. The grounds include basketball courts, a specialized playground for children with various abilities, and pathways connecting to a larger trail network.
The park began in 1892 as Fort Worth's first public space and expanded through land gifts from Major K. M. Van Zandt. Improvements and additions came during the New Deal period in the 1930s.
The Van Zandt Cottage shows what homes looked like when Fort Worth was young, offering visitors a glimpse into residential life from that era. Walking past this house helps you understand how the area once developed.
The park connects into a 100-mile trail network spanning Fort Worth, making it easy to combine walks with cycling and outdoor activities. Different areas are accessible and work well for day visits with family or friends.
Dream Park is a specialized play area with equipment designed for children with different physical abilities to play together. This facility shows how spaces can be designed to truly welcome everyone.
