Tun Abdul Aziz Mosque

Tun Abdul Aziz Mosque is an Islamic prayer house in Petaling Jaya with a distinctive circular building form and a central minaret. It stands at the intersection of Jalan Semangat and Jalan Dato' Abdul Aziz, presenting a modern architectural approach different from typical rectangular mosque designs.

Construction of this mosque took place between 1975 and 1977, with Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah of Selangor performing the official opening. The project emerged during a period when contemporary Islamic architecture was gaining prominence throughout Malaysia.

The mosque organizes Chinese New Year celebrations, demonstrating the integration of different cultural traditions within the Malaysian Muslim community.
