Rendezvous Bay

Rendezvous Bay is a coastal bay on Anguilla's southern shore with a long stretch of white sand beach. The shoreline extends for several kilometers and offers clear views across the Caribbean Sea to St. Martin.

The bay became a focus of Anguilla's tourism development in the 1960s when early hotels were built along the shore. These first tourism projects helped the island establish itself as a destination.

The Dune Preserve sits right on the beach as a performance space where locals and visitors gather for music. You can experience Caribbean rhythms and songs in a relaxed outdoor setting that feels part of the community.

You can enter the bay from several different points along the beach with parking available near the resort areas and beach restaurants. Swimming conditions are best when the sea is calm, so check before you go.

The eastern end of the beach holds the oldest hotel buildings still standing on the island. These structures show how Anguilla's first tourism projects looked and operated.
