Kavajë Mosque

The Kavajë Mosque is an Islamic house of worship in the city center, featuring white concrete walls and standing as a central religious structure for the community. The building has a simple, modern design and sits near other important landmarks in the area.

The original mosque was built in 1735 during Ottoman times and was later destroyed during the communist era. The current building was reconstructed in 1994 and now stands as the modern expression of this religious site.
