Stanislavski Russian Theatre of Yerevan, State theatre in Kentron district, Yerevan, Armenia
The Stanislavski Russian Theatre occupies the former Builders' Club, a 1929 building on Abovyan Street by architects Karo Alabyan, Gevorg Kochar and Mikayel Mazmanyan, next to Charles Aznavour Square. It was founded on 15 November 1937 with the play "Ochnaya stavka" and took Stanislavski's name in 1938.
The theatre opened in 1937 and was named in 1938 in honor of the influential Russian theatre director Constantin Stanislavski. The building stands on the site of a former Russian church that previously occupied this location.
Performances here are presented in Russian language, featuring works from Russian literature alongside productions by Armenian classical playwrights. This programming reflects the historical connection between Russian and Armenian cultures within the city's arts scene.

In 2002, at the fourth international festival of Russian theatres of the CIS and Baltic countries in Saint Petersburg, the theatre received a prize "for the highest atmospheric pressure". Its production "AbanaMat" won Best Performance at the 2012 Artavazd national theatre award.
