Wings of Tatev, Aerial tramway in Syunik region, Armenia.
The Wings of Tatev spans 5.7 kilometers across the Vorotan River Gorge, connecting the village of Halidzor with the ancient Tatev Monastery.
Established in 2010, this engineering achievement set a Guinness World Record as the longest non-stop double track cable car system in existence.
The tramway forms part of the Tatev Revival Project, which strengthens connections between communities and provides access to the 9th-century Tatev Monastery.
The cabins accommodate 30 passengers plus one attendant, operating daily from June through August between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
During the 12-minute journey, passengers rise 320 meters above the Vorotan Gorge, reducing travel time compared to the 40-minute road route.
