Saint Sargis Church of Ashtarak

Saint Sargis Church stands on a promontory at the edge of Ashtarak gorge, featuring a cruciform central plan with a single dome supported by a drum.

The church structure dates from the 17th century and received substantial modifications during the 19th century to maintain its architectural elements and religious function.
