Quba Mere Diwane is a Yazidi temple in Aknalich, Armenia, built around a large central dome flanked by seven smaller domes. The exterior is clad in Armenian granite and Iranian marble, and the interior holds a prayer hall alongside rooms used for community events.
The temple was completed in 2019 and is the first Yazidi place of worship of its kind in Armenia. It was built to give a permanent religious center to a community that had settled in the country over the course of the 20th century after facing persecution elsewhere.
The temple is the main place where Yazidis in Armenia gather to pray and celebrate their festivals together. Visitors can observe the ornaments and symbols on the building, which carry references to Yazidi tradition.
